Facial Traits (Eyes, Cheek Fur)
A Sleepwalker's Eyes are the most important parts of their physiology, as they are required for seeing the trails that lead them to dreaming individuals. Without them they cannot survive. Being completely whiskerless, Sleepwalkers instead have very sensitive cheek fur that can sense minute differences in pressure, humidity, and even certain sound waves. The longer the cheek fur, the better the spatial awareness of the Sleepwalker
Rare Sleepwalkers are usually dreamed up by magic users who are extremely gifted or powerful. The appearance of these Sleepwalkers easily belies their magical strength.

In the case of 4-eyed Sleepwalkers, since they do not have a middle eye, the upper pair of eyes acts as the middle pair. For 5-eyed Sleepwalkers, the additional side pair operates the same as the other side eyes.
|
Very Rare Sleepwalkers are revered as powerful familiars that can easily match a fully developed mage in strength. Only a fool would turn down a bonding with one of these magnificent specimens.
|
For Sleepwalkers with shaped pupils, all pupils are shaped exactly the same except for the middle Eye, which can have a shaped pupil independent of the side eyes.
|
Illegal Sleepwalkers are born because of mistakes made during the creation process. No one is quite sure how they happen. Illegal Sleepwalkers are not welcome in Dream society, nor are they favored as familiars.

2-eyed and 1-eyed Sleepwalkers are essentially half blind, as one cannot see at night, and the other cannot see in daytime. They are extremely easy prey for Nightmare Breathers and NightTerrors
